Repeat Prescriptions

Requests for repeat prescriptions should be brought to the surgery at least 72 hours before collection.  You are able to use the collection box found in reception.  We actively promote you to renew your prescriptions using our online service; our prescriptions are computer generated.  If you wish, we can arrange for your prescription to be collected at a local chemist. Please speak to one of our receptionists who will give you more details about this service.

Please note that prescriptions at our branch surgery at Heighington can be picked up at any time during the opening hours.  We also offer a delivery service for repeat prescriptions; please speak with Heighington receptionists about this service to see if you are eligible.  There is also a repeat prescription telephone ordering service for both Bewick and Heighington surgeries between 1400 - 1700hrs (Mon - Fri).  This line will only connect at these times; the number is 01325 318697.

Please be reminded that we are closed on bank holidays.  To avoid any disappointment, please remember to cater for this and order your repeat prescription in good time.

We have provision to dispense to patients who live in or around Heighington. The Health Service Regulations on this matter are very strict and this service can only be offered to those patients who register as dispensing when they join the practice or when they move house.  Please click here to find out when you can collect medication from our branch surgery.

For more information, please telephone the surgery and a member of our dispensary staff will be pleased to answer your queries.
