CLINICS
Antenatal Clinic
Monday 1300 - 1500hrs and Tuesday 1300 - 1500hrs - Midwife clinic. This is for newly pregnant patients in order to commence the NHS pregnancy management and support process.
Tuesday 9.00 - 12.30pm and Thursday 1330 - 1630hrs. The Midwife will book patients into these appointments for ongoing antenatal care.
Baby Clinic
Friday 1300 - 1500hrs. 8 week baby check clinic conducted by a female GP and Health Visitor. There will also be Practice Nurses available for baby immunisations.
Cervical Screening Smear Clinic
Wednesday 5.00 - 7.00pm. This Nurse-led clinic is a pre-bookable appointment clinic only. Please note that cervical screening appointments are available through the day as well. Please phone the surgery for more information on 01325 316637.
Community Psychiatric Nurse
Tuesday - all day, and Friday 0830 - 1230hrs. These appointments are bookable via a GP referral only.
Diabetic Clinic
Thursday 12.45 - 4.00pm. This is run by our Practice Nurses, in conjunction with our special interest for diabetes, Doctor Stephenson. A dietician is also available through onward referral at this clinic. These appointments are pre-bookable only.
Diabetic Dietician Clinics
Every second and fourth Thursday afternoon (booked via Diabetic Clinic); only for diabetic patients.
Family Planning Clinic
Tuesday 5.30 - 7.30pm (Appointment only)
This clinic is a Nurse-led provision offering a range of contraceptive services (i.e. depo-provera injection, condom distribution, contraceptive pill advice and prescription, etc.)

Influenza ('flu') Vaccinations
An influenza vaccination is particularly recommended for patients with heart, lung or kidney disease, diabetes, and residents of nursing and rest homes. Please contact the reception staff from September for details of the vaccination dates and to make an appointment.
Mental Health Clinic
Wednesday all day. We have a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist who visits the surgery. Access to these services are carried out via either a GP or self-referral using Talking Changes Self Referral Form.
Minor Surgery
Some Doctors and Nurse Practitioners carry out minor surgical procedures at the surgery. This is by appointment only and the Doctors and Nurses will be happy to advise you on this.
Travel Vaccinations
Please make an appointment at least eight weeks in advance of your holiday to ensure adequate cover. A charge will be made for some vaccines.
Non-NHS Examinations
The Doctors are happy to carry out medicals, eg insurance and driving licence, by appointment outside surgery hours. Please telephone the surgery for an appointment. Please ask at reception for the charges for these services.
