Making NHS Services More Accessible
With effect Monday 24th January 2022 we changed our appointment model to make our services easier to access. All requests for Doctors and/or Nurse Practitioner appointments will be initially triaged by one of our Doctors. This helps us to clinically prioritise patients requesting acute care ensuring patients are given the care they need at the time.
Our Doctors will review most appointment requests the same day but at the very latest we will triage your request by the next working day. We will not accept repeat prescription requests via this method, please use the prescription lines service if you are housebound or use the NHS App/online services. You can call our prescription line service to query any prescriptions whether you are housebound or not.

Consult With Your GP Online
All routine and urgent Doctor appointments are now triaged via eConsult. This is helping us to prioritise patient's clinical needs and ensures you are treated by the most appropriate clinician. We will respond by text or phone informing you of the next step in your care. This service also directs patients to self-help, pharmacy advice and local self-referral services.
There's no waiting in telephone queues with this option and at our surgery, the GP will review your submission by the latest of the next working day.
You can use our eConsult service between 7.30 - 3pm, and 6.30 - 8pm Monday to Friday. Outside of these timings this service will be switched off.
To get started, click here or for more information or you can watch demonstration video opposite.
You can call us on 01325 316637; our telephone lines remain open from 8am until 6pm. When calling us for an appointment, our trained receptionists will ask you a series of questions at the request of our Doctors. This means if using this method you still may experience waiting in telephone queues. All of the information you have provided will be read by our triaging doctors the same day. Please ensure you give our receptionists as much information as you can as this will help us to help you.
Same as before, you can also request home visits by calling us if you have been clinically assessed as housebound or terminally ill.
